Procedure Text

 "How To Use"






  • Definition
Procedure text is a text that contains information and instructions for doing something. The creation of this text procedure is to facilitate human work so that it is efficient in carrying out according to the text procedure. 

 

  •  Characteristic

    1. Using imperative sentence patters (Command), for example, Cut, Do not mix, and so on.
    2. Using active verbs, such as turn, put, do, mix, etc.
    3. Using connectives (Conjunction) to sort of activities, such as then, while, etc.
    4. Using adverbials (Adverbs) to express detail the time, place, manner accurate, for example, for five minutes, 2 hours, etc.
    5. Using the simple present tense.
    6. Using numbering (first, second, third, and so on).

  • Structure
  1. Goal / Aim (Located in the title)
  2. Ingredients / Material (Tools that require to do the process
  3. Steps / Method (Ways or step to achive the goal in this text)

How To Use A Computer




You need:
  1. CPU
  2. Keyboard
  3. Monitor
  4. Mouse
  5. Printer (Optional)
  6. Speakers (Optional)

Here are the steps to operate a computer:
  1. Before plug of powering up the computer system, make sure that the power cable is connected to the back panel of the CPU and is plugged into the electric socket.
  2. Make sure the video cable is already connected to the monitor and the back panel of CPU correclty.
  3. Make sure other devices such as mouse and keyboard have connected to the back panel of CPU in the right side. Other hardware can also be connected such as speaker, printer, and so forth.
  4. When everything is plugged in securely, then press the power button on the CPU is usually located on the front panel of the CPU.
  5. The computer will display the Windows logo and displays the desktop image
  6. Once the desktop image appears then the computer is ready to operate
  7. The proper way to shut down or turn off the computer system is by clicking on the ‘Start’ button and choosing the ‘Turn Off Computer’ option. This then will display the options to ‘Standby’, ‘Restart’, or ‘Turn Off’ the CPU. Click ‘Turn Off’ to turning off the computer.

 How To Make Ice Lemon Tea



Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of Teabag
  • 2 pieces of Lemon Orange
  • 2 tsp of sugar
  • 6 Ice Cubes
  • 50 ml of hot water
  • 150 ml of cold water

Steps:

  1. First, brewed Tea bag in 50 ml of hot water.
  2. Second, add sugar, and then stir until evenly distributed.
  3. Third, squeeze the lemon. Then, pour lemon juice into the tea.
  4. Then, add ice cubes and add 150 ml of cold water.
  5. After that, stir until the lemon juice mixes with the tea.
  6. Add lemon slices as decoration.
  7. Finally, Ice Lemon Tea is ready to be served.
